Beloved reggae singer Leroy Gibbons, whose given name is Leroy Gibbon, died of a suspected heart attack after he collapsed at a studio in Hanover on Tuesday morning .. 17 – June 2025. The This Magic Moment singer was 74 years old.

Born September 18th, 1950, Leroy Gibbons burst on the dancehall scene in the mid-1980s with his strong voice and Lovers Rock style. He fell in with the Jammys camp, performing over the King Jammys sound system regularly and recording the popular album “This Magic Moment” for the label as well.

Known for his electrifying performances, he left an indelible mark on the music scene and was best known for hits such as Four Season Lover, Little More Like You, Samfie Girl and others.
